Dayton Riverfront Adventure Hike on the Buckeye Trail

Step into spring with a scenic group hike along The Buckeye Trail, exploring some of Dayton’s most iconic riverfront parks. This hike blends nature, history, and community as we journey through the heart of the Miami Valley.

We will meet at 100 N. Bend Blvd a parking lot at noon and walk 3 miles total on this out and back hike.

Featured Highlights:

• Deeds Point Metro Park – provides an unobstructed and picturesque view of the downtown Dayton skyline
• Island Park –originally an amusement park called White City
• Kettering Fields –
• Triangle Park – Home of the 1stNFL game

Whether you’re a seasoned Buckeye Trail hiker or just starting your journey, this hike offers a relaxed pace, great conversation, and beautiful views every step of the way. Short 3 mile out and back hike on mostly flat pavement.

What to Bring:
Comfortable walking shoes, water, snacks, weather-appropriate layers, and your sense of adventure.
