WE DID IT!! After a long year (and then some) we have finally narrowed down to our final circle! This season of Idol has been a journey to say the least and it has brought so many new faces (and voices) into our orbit, and we couldn’t be more thankful!
Our semi-final round was one for the ages! So much talent in one room and so much support from an absolutely packed house makes all the efforts from both the contestants and us more than worth it. You guys are the best!

Not only is this a group of the the best 13 singers in Dayton, but this has to be the most diverse group of talent in one room I’ve ever seen. We’ve got pop, country, broadway, jazz, soul, and more all being represented in this final circle, so pick your favorite and buckle up for one hell of a show!
This will work just like last years finals. Each contestant will get to sing TWO songs of their choosing, and the judges scores will be cumulative. If we have a tie for 1st (unlikely) DJ Q and I will serve as the tie-breaking vote.
The winner will be crowned Dayton Karaoke Idol 2026 and will receive $1000 in cash and also an ope invitation to any Limelight Entertainment sponsored showcase events (i.e. Pedro & Joe Shows) for paid gigs with team limelight!
Again, this will be the last contest we host for a while, and possibly forever…so I’m proud to say we’re going out with the best 13 singers in Dayton competing for the crown of Idol!
