About this Event
Georgia is a country caught between Russia and Western Europe and Etero is a single woman approaching 50, living in a rural Georgian village, and hanging on to a traditional life in the face of the ‘modernising’ influences of her female friends. But one day Etero starts a relationship with a man that will challenge her ideas.
Etero has never wanted a husband, preferring blackberry-picking, cake and solitude. "If marriage and dicks brought happiness many women would be happy," she tells a frisky customer in her store. … The mischievous denouement will leave a smile on your face for days."
Tara Brady,
