This activity would see youths aged 12 -18 years old team up for Zoo Bingo—spot animals, learn about conservation, and enjoy outdoor fun.
About this Event

Day Out To The Zoo with Brahm Centre! is a fun and educational outing for youths aged 12–18 years, where participants explore wildlife habitats while taking part in an interactive Zoo Bingo Challenge.

Youth participants will form small teams to spot animals, complete activity squares (e.g. identifying a species, noting animal behaviour, or taking a nature photo), and earn points at themed checkpoints. The programme blends observation skills, teamwork, and light-hearted friendly competition with guided learning about conservation and animal welfare.

Expect laughter, discovery, and hands-on learning in a safe and supportive group setting.

Learning Objectives

This programme allows participants to:

1. Work effectively in a team to divide tasks, communicate clearly, and solve challenges together.

2. Apply creative problem-solving and resourcefulness using limited materials under time pressure.

3. Show improved confidence and resilience by managing setbacks and completing physical tasks.

✅ Participants are required to arrive at Brahm Centre (Aljunied) by 8:45am.
This is to ensure the chartered bus can depart promptly at 9:00am.

✅ Two-way transport to and from the Zoo will be provided.

What to Bring

Please bring a day pack containing:

• Water bottle
• Insect repellent
• Sunscreen
• Medic*tion (if required)
• Umbrella

Participants should wear covered, comfortable footwear. A hat is recommended.

🎒 A complimentary care pack with snacks will be provided. Participants may bring additional snacks if needed.

Workshop Fee

For 1 Youth Circle Member: $10

Subsidised for Members of Brahm Centre Youth Circle.
