Day of the Devs returns to the historic Midway in San Francisco for Day of the Devs 2026: San Francisco Edition!

Day of the Devs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that began in 2012 as a collaboration between Double Fine and iam8bit, with the goal of shining a spotlight on great indie games. Since then, we’ve showcased over 800 games through both in-person and online events.

Our last physical event brought together more than 60 inspiring indie games and developers to celebrate with thousands of fans, great music, and loads of awesome treats and surprises — all free with no costs either to developers or attendees.

Parking/Rideshare

Parking in San Francisco can be difficult. We strongly suggest using public transit or rideshare services for this event.

Covid Protocols

The Day of the Devs team plans to stay in accordance with the city of San Francisco and The Midway's COVID-19 guidelines for events. Currently, guidelines do not require proof of vaccination or use of masks indoors, however we strongly suggest that attendees wear masks and are vaccinated prior to attending. Our policy remains subject to change.
