About this Event
A Fun‑Filled Competition for Young Pianists
CMC Piano Department is excited to announce the first‑ever PianOlympics, a friendly, competitive event designed for students who have recently started their piano journey! Taking place in the state‑of‑the‑art Piano Lab, the Olympics will showcase seven pianos in a series of quick, easy‑to‑learn games that test note‑reading, rhythm, and teamwork—all while keeping the atmosphere upbeat and low‑pressure.
Open to: This is designed for 8–12 year-olds who have taken one year of piano classes or lessons. Students should know note names and rhythm values, be able to read notes and rests on the staff as well as steps and skips in both hands, know finger numbers and can play a few songs.
Space is very limited! Please register in advance. Because of space limitations, parents may need to wait outside the activity room.
