Celebrate The Day of the Dead at Spark Imagination and Science Center on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 10 am to 1 pm. Join us for crafts and a special exhibit while you remember your ancestors on this special day.
Learn about the Mexican holiday, Día de los Muertos, (Day of the Dead), a tradition that remembers and celebrates the lives of departed loved ones. Participants will have the opportunity to decorate a sugar skull, make a paper flower, add to Spark’s papel picado, and more.
Admission is $5 per person. Members of Spark receive free admission. Children will receive one sugar skull to decorate. Adults can pay an additional $2 to decorate a sugar skull. Tickets include admission to Spark’s hands-on exhibits.
Families also can explore the Spark’s hands-on exhibits, where visitors can dig for pretend dinosaur fossils, build a ball ramp, explore nanoscience and space weather, play dress up, and much more.
This event was funded through a grant made possible through a collaborative effort between YCF and Arts Mon, with funding from the City of Morgantown, the Monongalia County Commission and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.
