About this Event
Day of the Dead Cacao Ceremony
Day of the dead is a celebration of those who came before us, originating from Oaxaca, Mexico. Traditionally this is celebrated with ofretas, that connect you with your ancestors and honor them. They even go to their place of burial and create beautiful offerings and sit with them throughout the night. It is a beautiful way to connect with and honor your ancestors. Without them you would not be here!
In this Cacao ceremony our intention is the same. The Spirit of Cacao, or Mother Cacao has much wisdom to share around opening your heart and sacrificing what no longer serves you to a higher source. We often feel like our heart is heavy or numb and so Mother Cacao offers her hand to you so that she may open your heart and help you flow with your emotions, allowing more love and freedom to be in your heart once again.
Through the medicine of Cacao, we will journey to connect to the ancestors of your lineage. To say thank you and send healing from your heart to them and to receive any guidance or wisdom they have for you.
This ceremony includes Cacao, a pure form of ceremonial chocolate that is prepared into a drink. We then go into a shamanic journey with sound healing and energy clearing.
This is a powerful time to connect with your ancestors to receive insights and cultivate a deeper connection with them as the veils are thin between realities and worlds.
If this calls to you, book your tickets now! Me and your ancestors will see you there!
Yoga mats and pillows are provided. Please note that as energy moves you may feel cold- so please bring your own blanket as well as whatever makes you feel comfortable!
Shop hours are 12-3 PM. Doors to the event close at 4 PM, please arrive early if you’d like to shop and to give yourself ample time to get comfortable and enjoy the space. See you there!
