The Day of Rock 2 Music Festival is the largest Multi Genre Rock Music Festival in the Carolinas. Bringing together 28 bands over a 2-day period at the iconic Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC. Bands will descend from all over the east coast including newcomers, well established locals, guitar legends, regional, and national touring acts which are amongst the hottest names in rock music right now.
CITIZEN KANE
Veterans of Blue Ridge Rock Fest and supporting bands like Black Stone Cherry and Trapt on tour, Citizen Kane an American Rock band from Tri-Cities Tennessee is Influenced by early British Metal and American Rock. Known for their Hard Rock sound of Tube Driven Guitars, Thundering Bass and Powerful Vocals that Scream in your face American Metal since the groups formation they have released two Studio Albums and one Self-Titled EP. From dive bars to Grand theatres, Rock Arenas to Monster Rock festivals CKY continues pounding out Pure Metal to the masses.
DYING OATH
Hailing from the Southwest of Virginia, Dying Oath has managed to snag the eyes and ears of local and national radio stations, magazines, and podcasts abroad, as well as thousands of views on their music videos. Through a unique combination of early 2000’s metalcore, modern heavy guitar riffs, well-crafted songs and a powerful and charismatic front woman in Mindy Jackson, they are rapidly rising to stardom in the rock world already performing sold out shows and booking a string of festival appearances in 2024.
A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation - the late Soundgarden, and Audioslave front man’s effort to assist and protect abused and poverty-stricken children throughout the world.
