Even Years We Party, Odd Years We Play!
Join us for Racker Day in the Park on August 29 at Stewart Park in Ithaca from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
After 12 years of exciting Racker Rivals Big Red exhibition games and more than $1.4 million raised for Racker's Early Childhood Programs, we're very excited to introduce a new tradition this summer!
In even-numbered years, we're moving from the ice to the park to bring family-friendly fun to the community! Racker Rivals Big Red will return in 2027 and hit the ice every other year during odd-numbered years. This gives Racker the opportunity to introduce fresh new experiences and connect with even more community members and supporters.
We are grateful to our community partners, Cornell hockey coaches, players, staff and sponsors for supporting this change and helping make RRBR successful for so many years.
Set in the fully inclusive Stewart Park, Racker Day in the Park will bring the community together for an afternoon packed with fun, music, movement, and connection. Guests can enjoy appearances by the Big Red hockey teams, live music from FLAME the Band, carousel rides, lawn games, DIY crafts, sensory-friendly activities, and inclusive experiences designed for all ages and abilities.
