Day in the Dirt | Earth Month

Celebrate with us at our Earth Month-themed Day in the Dirt! Join neighbors, friends, and community members for a hands-on morning of planting, weeding, and mulching alongside our horticulture team.

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting your hands dirty for the first time, you’ll learn about the beauty and benefits of native plants and how they can transform public spaces into thriving, sustainable gardens.

Expect a festive spring atmosphere in celebration of Earth Month as we work together to bring new life to the landscape. 🌼

When: Saturday, April 4, 2026

Time: 8 - 11 AM

📍Planting Location: The Underline Plaza, 126 Ruiz Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33146

Parking: Street parking available and parking available at Douglas Road Metrorail Station

Volunteers:

• Wear clothes that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty.
• Conduct plant bed maintenance led by The Underline’s horticulturist and the horticulture team.
• Will be provided with gardening tools and gloves.
• Wear comfortable shoes, apply sunscreen, bring hydration and a hat.

🚆 Transportation: Take the Metrorail to Douglas Road Station, exit north, and walk approx 6 blocks.

🚗 Parking: Metered parking is available at Douglas Road Station.

Walk or bike (bike racks are located at Douglas Road Station)

•••🌧 Rain Policy: The event will be postponed 2 hours before event time in the case of 50% or more chance of rain.
