Join me for a Day Course in Mindfulness at Current Wellness
About this Event
A Day to Slow Down, Reconnect, and Practice
Step away from the pace of everyday life and spend an afternoon learning and practicing mindfulness in a supportive, accessible environment.
This Day Course in Mindfulness is designed for anyone who is curious about mindfulness and wants a solid introduction, as well as those who have practiced before and could use a refresher, a reset, or dedicated time to reconnect with their practice.
Through guided meditation, mindful movement, practical instruction, and periods of reflection, we’ll explore what mindfulness actually is—and how it can become a practical resource for navigating stress, strengthening attention, and relating to everyday life with greater awareness.
During the course, we’ll explore:
- Myths and foundations of mindfulness
- Focus and concentration
- The five postures of mindfulness
- Formal and informal mindfulness practice
- The neuroscience of mindfulness
- Mindful eating and movement
- Mindful communication
- Bringing mindfulness into everyday life
The course draws from the principles and practices of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and emphasizes experiential learning and practical application.
No previous meditation or mindfulness experience is required.
