DAY CAMP COMES TO RESURRECTION!Camp is coming to our church June 24-28. Day Camp is an exciting five day program offered by Camp Luther Springs for youth that have completed grades 1 through 5. It is a joint venture of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and Luther Springs. The cost for the week is only $50.00 [scholarships available], this covers all costs, except lunch. Children should pack a lunch that does not need to be refrigerated.
WHAT HAPPENS AT DAY CAMP?
Bible Study! Worship! Singing! Games! Arts and crafts! Fellowship! Nature studies! Making new
friends! And so much more!
WHERE WILL IT HAPPEN?
Day Camp will run from to 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
The Friday session will conclude at noon with a special program for families and friends.
WHO WILL LEAD IT?
Counselors from Luther Springs will lead our program. The staff are Christian young adults
trained and equipped in Bible Study, worship, first aid, recreation, creative activities, and
working with people both young and old. The counselors are college age, at least 18 years old
and are led by an experienced Luther Springs Program Coordinator in conjunction with our
church coordinator. Volunteers from our church will share in the leadership.
WHO CAN COME?
Any youth who has completed grades 1 to 5 can sign up. You do not have to be a member of the congregation - Day Camp is open to everyone! (And scholarships are available for those in financial need.)
REGISTRATION
To register: The church office ([email protected]) has all the forms including permission slips and health forms. Complete the forms and return to the church office to reserve a spot. Registration will close when we reach our maximum capacity.
