The HMHS Kyarra was a 6,953-ton passenger and cargo liner that served as a hospital ship during WWI. It was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine UB-57 on May 25, 1918, near Swanage, Dorset, at a maximum depth of 30 meters. The wreck was discovered in 1967 and is now a popular dive site, lying about 1 mile off Anvil Point. Features include cargo holds, boilers and propeller shaft.It has an array of wreckage on it from drinks bottle and tiles to silk and medical supplies. It's home to lots of life including shoals of various fish, Conger Eels, Lobsters, Cuttlefish and more!
