The Dawnbringers Crusade is a Glibal Narrative event. Our local store Warhammer Rio Rancho, has been tasked with deploying Dawnbringers to build and establish the City fo Banasar's Mound in our realm of Aqshy. Every Warhammer store in the world is establishing their own cities as well. You the local Hobbyists determine our Dawnbringers fate! You can help build the city of Banasar's Mound or burn it and the Dawnbringers to ash to spite Sigmar’s will. So gather your forces and let's battle for the future of Banasar's Mound.
Over these three months, you and your fellow Warhammer hobbyists can fight for the fate of a new city – either to raise it up in glory, or crush it into the dirt.
You’ll earn points towards completing an activity card through all kinds of hobby activities, from painting new units to battling your friends. You can also claim bonus points by introducing a friend to Warhammer and guiding them through their first steps, so they can aid you on your campaign too.
Score 18 points across all activities to complete your card, adding a point to your store’s campaign tracker for your chosen path.* And to mark you out as a true Dawnbringer, you’ll also receive an authentic Coin Malleus of your own – whether you found a city in Sigmar’s name, or blight the land he sought to claim (while stocks last).

This will have a Path to Glory store campaign alongside it to help get games and meet other players. we will start at 1000pts and build up each month. Their will be goals and Narrative twists along the way. We will have A finals event and the winner will get their name and army icon immortalized on the Warhammer Rio Rancho Wall of Champions in store. For more details call or stop in store.

Banasar: A Legend Unclaimed
Banasar's Mound stands as a testament to a lost age of Duardin heroism. Legends speak of Banasar, a Slayer of unmatched fury, who stood defiant against the tides of Chaos as Sigmar sealed the gates to Azyr. Though Banasar's deeds echoed through the ages, his soul was denied the honor of becoming a Stormcast Eternal. Some whisper that Sigmar, preoccupied with preserving his own kingdom, overlooked the Slayer's sacrifice.
Despite this, Banasar's final stand has become a beacon of hope. The very ground where he fell is said to be imbued with the Slayer's rage, the fires of Aqshy burning brighter with an echo of his defiance against chaos. This hallowed place, known as Banasar's Mound, is believed to be a burial site unlike any other - a monument built upon the countless Chaos servants Banasar slew in his final moments.
For generations, Banasar's Mound has remained shrouded in mystery. Many have ventured forth, driven by avarice or piety, seeking the Slayer's legendary resting place. Some lusted for the fabled Duardin Ur-Gold rumored to be buried with him, while others sought holy relics or a place to conduct potent rituals against the encroaching darkness. Yet, all who dared to search the Mound returned empty-handed, their expeditions swallowed by the unforgiving realm of Aqshy.
Now Sigmar himself has taken an interest in this forgotten hero. A Dawnbringers Crusade has been dispatched, tasked with rediscovering Banasar's Mound. Sigmar's purpose remains unclear. Perhaps he seeks to rectify his past oversight and grant Banasar a belated honor. Or maybe the hallowed ground holds a strategic advantage, a potent location to establish a new bastion of civilization in the ever-burning heart of Aqshy.
One thing is certain: the crusade for Banasar's Mound will not go unnoticed. Agents of Chaos, forever vigilant against the rise of hope, will undoubtedly seek to disrupt the crusade and claim the Slayer's legacy for their own dark purposes. Additionally, whispers now circulate amongst some of Sigmar's allies, questioning the wisdom of his decision. Could it be a ploy to secure sole dominion over a powerful location? This disquiet has the potential to ignite conflict between those who once stood shoulder-to-shoulder against Chaos. The Dawnbringers' quest will be fraught with peril, but the potential rewards - the honoring of a legendary hero and the establishment of a strategic foothold in the heart of Aqshy - make the challenge all the more compelling.
