David Watts returns to the Cadenza stage as a soloist with a warm, audience-friendly program that bridges original solo piano works and reimagined songs. Featuring both instrumental pieces and select vocal performances, the program includes fresh interpretations of songs such as As So It Goes, Moondance, and You’re My Home, as well as original compositions. The result is an engaging and accessible concert experience rooted in melody, storytelling, and jazz-influenced harmony.

Watts is known as a composer and song stylist. Equally comfortable as a pianist, singer, director, and composer, Watts has performed as a soloist, as leader of his own quintet, as a sideman, and as a director.
