Scripted and shot as an 18-hour film, and broadcast in hour-long instalments, the Twin Peaks revival picked up 25 years after season two’s legendary cliffhanger — with FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) swapped for an evil doppelgänger (MacLachlan again). But its true predecessor is Lynch’s 1992 prequel film Fire Walk With Me, a Rosetta Stone for The Return’s complex mythology and many obsessed-over mysteries.
We encourage you to seek out all 18 hours of The Return, but for this screening, join us to experience the three parts personally selected by David Lynch for cinema screenings.
