Rooted in a soulful blend of JJ Cale and The Band, with the funky essence of Daptone and Bill Withers, Allen’s music journeys into emotional realms inspired by Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, and Harry Nilsson. His latest album, By The Summertime, continues his exploration of poetic storytelling, drawing from influences like Canadian poets Al Purdy and Nelson Ball.
Backing Allen is Kojak, a powerhouse band known for their unique blend of hard rock riffs, trading guitars, and an airtight rhythm section. With a sound reminiscent of classic and contemporary rock, roots, and blues, Kojak’s energy adds a dynamic edge to the show.
