The library is excited to welcome back Edgar Award-winning author of crime fiction and past President of the Private Eye Writers of America, David Housewright, on Thursday, October 16th at 6pm in the Police Annex. Best known for his Holland Taylor and Rushmore McKenzie detective novels as well as other tales of murder and mayhem in the midwest, Housewright won the Edgar from the Mystery Writers of America as well as a nomination from the PWA for his first novel "Penance." This event is free and refreshments will be available."This program is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant provided by the Traverse des Sioux Library Cooperative, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund."
