David Hale Art Opening: The Lord Knows When You Are Trying

2–5PM printing session; 5–8PM art show opening. Athens artist David Hale of Love Hawk has been busy printing and hand coloring 500 new original prints! He's also writing and crafting an art and poetry book of the same title which showcases the work in the series.Join us prior to the art opening for a special hands-on session – David will print on shirts/clothing/fabric and whatever other good ideas you can bring to the gallery from 2-5PM. He'll have 50 carved blocks to print from. Get a preview of his new work then as well. The opening and sales of his prints will begin at 5pm.Save the date: Saturday, Nov 7th. 2-5PM. Poetry reading by David Hale and “Print it Your F*cking Self” workshop where David will encourage folks to have fun with a bunch of paint markers, colored pencils, and paints and help them print his blocks over their work.
