David Guterson presents Evelyn in Transit, with Leigh Haber

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome David Guterson to celebrate and discuss his new book, ; a crystalline short novel about defying expectations, hitting the road, and seeking the right way to live.

David will be joined in conversation by Leigh Haber. Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, David will also sign copies of his book.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
David Guterson is the author of thirteen books, including the PEN/Faulkner Award winner Snow Falling on Cedars, which was made into a major motion picture, translated into twenty–five languages, and has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide. His new book is EVELYN IN TRANSIT (W.W. Norton; January 2026). He lives on Bainbridge Island, Washington.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Leigh Haber is an independent editor, writer, and consultant. For ten years she ran Oprah’s Book Club and curated the Reading Room section of O, the Oprah Magazine until it closed. After that, she was the founding books director of Oprah Daily. She’s on the board of the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction.
