David Dibble-VALUE AND COLOR: Foundations and explorations

Spend three days learning with celebrated artist and teacher David Dibble as he helps you dive deeper into the principles and practice of value and color. This is the college course you always wished you had taken! Unlike the typical workshop you won't spend days on finishing one painting, but rather you'll study principles and work through visual exercises and painting studies which will change both your observational and studio practice. Concepts of high/low key, limited palette, tonal shift, and saturation will be explored. Focus will be on the landscape, but exercises and principles are equally applicable to still life and figure painters.
