David Cay Johnston, is a best-selling author and investigative journalist who reported for The New York Times for 13 years. Johnston is a specialist in economics and tax issues. He won a 2001 Pulitzer Prize. He is a professor of practice teaching criminal justice, journalism, law, and political science at Rochester Institute of Technology. David Cay Johnston has covered Trump longer and more closely than any other journalist working today, his many books include, The Big Cheat: How Donald Trump Fleeced America and Enriched Himself and His Family (2021), It's Even Worse Than You Think: What the Trump Administration Is Doing to America (2019) and The Making of Donald Trump (2017).
Ian Masters hosts, Background Briefing on KPFA and KPFK which deals with American politics, foreign policy as well as domestic American security issues. It is broadcast on more than forty radio stations across the US, and is also available as a podcast. Masters is an Australian-born, BBC-trained American broadcast journalist, commentator, author screenwriter and documentary filmmaker.
