Event information
The Thin White Duke David Bowie recreation Band have become a fan favourite on the scene since forming over 21 years ago. On stage, the 6-piece band capture the sound and vision of a live Bowie concert. The audience are taken on a 2-hour journey through David Bowie's golden years.
The first set launches into the rock ’n’ roll rush of Ziggy Stardust, with Scott Fuller taking to the stage as the Thin White Duke and the band powering through the era’s greatest tracks. From Changes and Sorrow, we build towards Moonage Daydream, featuring Ben’s psychedelic guitar solo inspired by the mighty Mick Ronson. Then comes Life on Mars?—with a beautifully crafted finale made to bring you to your feet.
For the second set, we jump into Bowie’s ’80s era. Scott returns in the iconic Union Jack coat, and it’s time to dance: stretch out with Let’s Dance, sing along to Fame and Modern Love, and enjoy a special spotlight on Kerry’s powerful vocals, accompanied by Nigel on piano.
Then we turn up the drama with songs including Lazarus and Under Pressure, before bringing the night to an epic close with “Heroes.”
From Ziggy to the dance floor and beyond, this is a full two-set celebration of Bowie’s music. Join us at Westgate Hall, Canterbury, and get your tickets for a night to sing, dance and remember.
