Davenport Community Climate Action: Green Wave West Monthly Meeting

Concerned about climate change? Join neighbours in Davenport to talk about it and plan how we can spark local climate action together.
About this Event

Green Wave West: We are a community group of climate-concerned neighbours, formed in 2018. We advocate for climate leadership and policies, work at the local level to advance climate solutions, and hold educational and community-based events.

Everyone is welcome to join our meetings, regardless of whether you live in Davenport or come out regularly.

This GWW meeting is being co-hosted by New Horizons Seniors Climate Action Group.

What's on the Agenda (please message us with your input!)

1. Project updates: federal advocacy, municipal election, heat pumps
2. Discussion: Sharing emerging priorities, upcoming events and actions
3. Advancing local climate action post-election (city + ward-level)
4. Partnering and collaborating with other groups
