It is with heavy hearts that on Tuesday, October 6, we lost our friend Dave Markham, our beloved "Dave the Miracle Man." Our community is devastated and shocked. For years, Dave amazed audiences as Gardena Cinema's resident sword swallower, turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. He had a remarkable gift for bringing people together through curiosity, laughter, and wonder.
While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life lived boldly and a man who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Dave was one of a kind, and his legacy will continue to be a part of the Gardena Cinema story. Thank you, Dave, for all the joy and amazement you shared with us. You will never be forgotten.
Please join us for a memorial and screening in honor of Dave Markham on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 7:30pm. His surviving brother Kurt Markham will join us in sharing fond memories we have of The Miracle Man. Everyone is welcome to share their stories and memories. All are welcome!
