35th Anniversary Screening!
In celebration of Black History Month, we are proud to screen Julie Dash’s Daughters of the Dust. This film is a landmark of American independent cinema and the first feature directed by an African American woman to receive wide theatrical distribution.

In 1902, an African-American family living on a sea island off the coast of South Carolina prepares to move to the North.
