Our Tandem Pottery Wheel Date Night is a playful, low-pressure experience where you and your person share a wheel, get a little messy, and make something together — no experience required.

You don’t need to be artistic.
You don’t need to know what you’re doing.
We guide you every step of the way — and everyone leaves with a finished piece we’ll glaze and fire for you.

Pricing:

Tandem Wheel = $90 for two people:

• Share one wheel for 60 minutes.
• Includes 3 (one pound) balls of clay and the firing of 2 pieces*.
• $20 non-refundable deposit required to reserve, with the balance paid at the studio.

This is an experience designed for beginners, and we focus on helping you through the basics. Most first-time participants will create smaller, simple pieces like a bowl, cylinder, or trinket dish. We do not guarantee you’ll make a fire-able piece*, but if not, you can choose a finished piece as a memento of your session.

*Ceramics are an extremely unpredictable medium and we are unable to guarantee pieces won't crack during the multiple phases of the process (drying, bisque fire and glaze firing).

• Classes begin & end at published times and last 1 hour or until you use up your 3 balls of clay, whichever comes first. Additional clay can be purchased for $5 per ball if time permits.
• If your piece survives the firing process, we’ll apply your chosen glaze and complete the final glaze firing. Total turnaround time is approximately 4 weeks before your piece is ready for pick-up.
• Want to keep more than your included piece? You can fire additional pieces for $15 each (includes glazing and second firing).

• No cancels/reschedules within 48 hours of the class
• No credits or refunds are issued in the event of a no-show
• Ages 16 and up.
• All people in the wheel area must be registered, no spectators
• No open-toed shoes.
• Fingernails may get dirty or break.
• Wear comfortable clothing that can get messy (no skirts/dresses/kilts).
• No loose jewelry or rings.
• Long hair should be tied back.
