Come have a super fun art making experience with a friend, family member or partner or by yourself! Learn to create fun and beautiful jewelry in your choice of metal. Utilizing hand tools and a torch, our metalsmithing instructor Beth Liggitt guides you step-by-step through the design and creation of your one-of-a-kind jewelry piece. This fun jewelry making workshop is perfect for any skill level - no experience necessary!
Choose from a variety of metals to create the piece of your choice - pendant, earrings or adjustable rings. Experiment with wire versus sheet metal and varying textures. Bronze, copper, nickel silver and brass are included, upgrade to sterling silver or add on a chain for your pendant for an extra fee at the workshop.
All tools will be supplied. Just bring your imagination!
Please note that we do know that things come up, so our class cancellation policy reasonably accommodates our valuable customers and is respectful of our instructors’ time and effort to prepare for and purchase materials for classes. We ask that if you must reschedule, please do so as far in advance as possible. Cancellations within 24 Hours prior forfeit the class fee, and no show forfeits the class fee. If the class minimum size is not met within 2 days before the class, the instructor or the gallery reserves the right to cancel the class. Students will be notified by phone and given full class credit. These students will be contacted first if the class is rescheduled.
Please wear closed-toe shoes. This is close-up detail work; please bring any magnification eyewear you might typically use for such work.
