About this Event
Where you live is more than just a place--it reflects your culture, community, and identity. Our living environment shapes our health and wellness through access to healthcare, employment opportunities, education, housing quality, safety, and living environment. Proximity to healthcare providers and life expectancy are just some of the many variables influenced by geography.
Register now and mark your calendar for this Data & Drafts discussion, during which we will share findings from a new report which gives a comparative overview and analysis of the health indicators and risk factors/social determinants of health in Central Indiana neighborhoods.
What is Data & Drafts? It’s happy hour with data. It is an opportunity to learn through data trends about a social concern and how it impacts the world around us. Though there is a data presentation, it is less formal than our SAVI Talks events. Participants are encouraged to socialize, network, ask questions, and discuss the presentation findings to dive deeper into the topic. We will have beer, water and light snacks.
A partnership with The Polis Center, SAVI, WFYI Public Media, and the Indianapolis Public Library.
