The Story of Guru Nanak

Hindustani, 75 mins, Musical Storytelling

At the intersection of Gurbani, theatre and storytelling, Daastaan-E-Guru Nanak is a musical daastaan about the life, journeys and teachings of Baba Nanak, the spiritual guide, traveller and philosopher. The performance explores the idea of Oneness, a vision that Baba Nanak shares through his verses.

The daastaango, or storytellers, narrate and sing simultaneously, creating an intimate milieu of divinity and soulful togetherness.
