Join the Leavitt Theatre and Perkins Cove Bookshop for a hometown premiere celebration of Dasher, the Disney Jr. and Disney+ animated special based on the beloved book by author and illustrator Matt Tavares.
Enjoy a festive evening with Matt, a screening of the special, a behind-the-scenes conversation, and a book signing. Books will be available to purchase from Perkins Cove Bookshop, with dinner and drinks available from the Leavitt.

A Few Things to Know Before You Go
FREE ADMISSION + GENERAL SEATING
Admission to the screening is free, with a suggested donation of $5–$10 per person to support the Leavitt Theatre. Your RSVP is for general attendance and does not reserve a specific seat. All seats are first-come, first-pick, so arrive early to grab your favorite spot, enjoy the reception, and have dinner and drinks before the screening.
BOOKS
Books are not included with your free screening RSVP and may be preordered separately through Perkins Cove Bookshop. Books will also be available to purchase during the event.
BYOB | BRING YOUR OWN BLANKET!
The Leavitt is a beautiful 100-year-old theatre, and she can get chilly in the colder months! Dress warmly and feel free to bring your own blanket for the coziest possible Dasher movie night.
PARKING
The Leavitt does not have a private parking lot. Two municipal parking lots are directly across from the theatre, and both are free at the time of this event.
