New for November, we introduce The Dart Challenge. It’s a six hour event on Friday 21st Nov, so you can fit it in around shift patterns or childcare. Or maybe you’re retired or between jobs so any day will do.We’ve teamed up with the Green Table Cafe who will be hosting registration & offering their excellent hot drinks & food all day long. This event is also helping to raise funds for a new playground at Dartington Hall.
This event enables all abilities to run, hike or walk together. Ultimately you can compete as many 5k laps as you wish in the time limit of 6 hours, between 9am-3pm. You can run one lap, collect your medal & go home, you can head out to complete as many laps as you can in six hours. Our crew will be on hand to keep you motivated. The format is great for competitors who want to run further than before, enjoy a social run with family & friends, a long training run or tick off a marathon (8 laps + a short out & back) on your way of joining the 100 Marathon Club perhaps
The 5k course is on mixed terrain including gravel, grass, a little bit of tarmac and, sometimes mud. We’ve kept the course reasonably flat but with one decent hill per lap to keep it interesting. We’ve also added a canicross (run with your dog option – see our FAQ
Trail shoes are strongly recommended. There is plenty of parking but you do need to pay for it.
