Join Darren Hayes – singer, songwriter, producer, performer and former frontman of the iconic pop duo Savage Garden as he returns to his hometown of Brisbane for a very special evening launching his candid, unfiltered memoir, Unlovable. Various ticket options can include a book, and there's a signing of the book at the end and of course, a special acoustic performance. In conversation with Yumi Stynes, Darren will discuss the story of Unlovable, opening up the hidden battles that shaped his remarkable journey – from depression rooted in childhood trauma and violence, to navigating his sexuality in a world that was not always accepting.
For this monumental hometown launch of Unlovable, Darren will also perform a short intimate acoustic set of songs poignant to his story. Don't miss the chance to celebrate the launch of this remarkable story and special evening with Darren Hayes.
Please note there are a number of ticket options available. You can buy a ticket by itself or a ticket with an unsigned copy of Unlovable. Books will also be available to purchase on the night courtesy of Avid Reader, and there will be an opportunity for you to have your book signed by Darren.
