Darn It! Workshop
About this Event
Join Greener and Cleaner for a fun, creative 2-hour workshop where you will learn the traditional textile repair technique of darning. Darning can be done to look as invisible as possible or as colourful and creative as you wish. The technique is the same for whichever style you choose.
You are welcome to bring your own mend with you or we will have fabric swatches or old socks that you can use to simulate a mend. We will have a selection of yarns and embroidery threads available for use during the workshop. If you have your own darning mushroom you are welcome to bring it, otherwise we will be using tennis balls to support the fabric while darning.
This workshop is suitable for ages 16+
