Darn Hot Tuesday is our weekly drop-in Balboa class, perfect for anyone already familiar with the basics!From 7-8pm our rotating teaching team will be exploring fun ways to connect with our partners and the music, as we take a deeper dive into the finer points of this magical dance.
Our theme for February is Beyond Beginner Bal. We’ll be taking some of the best loved bal fundamentals and playing with style, refinement, and connection.
Week 1: Pure Bal and Come-arounds with Tara and Tim
Week 2: Out and Ins (& In and Outs!) with Tim and Kris
Week 3: High Impact, Low Effort Throw-outs with Karen and Tim
Week 4: Spins and Turns with Kris and Tara
$20 includes the 1 hour class, plus 1 hour of practice/social dance time, where the teaching team will be on hand to troubleshoot and provide feedback
Advance monthly passes are $60 - that’s a whole week for FREE - are now available via https://www.darnhotswing.com.au/practice-balboa
Classes are held at the Djerring Centre in Collingwood, just next to Collingwood Town Hall. Ample parking available in Eddy Court, and easy access from Collingwood Station.
