Jennifer Barnes
Jennifer is managing editor of Raw Dog Screaming Press, which has been publishing off-kilter books for more than two decades. She spent four years as an editor for The Dream People Literary Magazine. Her children’s book, Better Haunted Homes and Gardens, illustrated by Kristen Margiotta, is a seasonal favorite. Jennifer graduated from University of Maryland with a B.A. in English and a concentration in poetry. She is also an accomplished graphic designer. Sawney Hatton
Sawney is an author, editor, and screenwriter. His published credits include the Paranormal Horror novel Dirty Spirits, the Dark Comedy novel Dead Size, the YA Noir novella Uglyville, and his Dark Fiction short story collection Everyone Is a Moon. He also edited the Sci-Fi Horror anthology What Has Two Heads, Ten Eyes, And Terrifying Table Manners?. His novella The Devil's Delinquents appears in the Noir-inspired anthology Murder In Montague Falls. He is currently working on his next novel.
Vaughn A. Jackson
Vaughn is an author, editor, and sometimes poet. His works lean heavily into his three favorite sub-genres of dark speculative fiction: Creatures, Kaiju, and Cosmic Horror.. As an author, his published novels include the Kaiju thriller Up from the Deep and the cosmic horror Touched by Shadows. His Civil War-era vampire novel Southern Cross is in progress with Falstaff Dread. He is also the co-editor of the diverse cosmic horror anthology Beyond the Bounds of Infinity, released through Raw Dog Screaming Press. He is an Affiliate Member of the Horror Writers Association and can usually be found cracking jokes and trying to make H.P. Lovecraft roll over in his grave. Vaughn is most active on his Instagram @blaximillion_author.
Suzanne Madron
Suzanne was born in New York City and has lived up and down the East Coast. Currently, she resides in a house built over a Civil War battlefield in the wilds of south-central Pennsylvania where she has been known to host some interesting Halloween parties. She has authored several novels and stories, such as The Water Shed, For Sale or Rent, and The Metatron Mysteries, under various pen names including Suzi M, James Glass, and Xircon.
Hailey Piper
Hailey is the Bram Stoker Award-winning author of Queen of Teeth, All the Hearts You Eat, A Light Most Hateful, The Worm and His Kings series, and other books of dark fiction. She is also the author of over 100 short stories appearing in Weird Tales, Pseudopod, Cosmic Horror Monthly, Cast of Wonders, and various other publications. Her nonfiction appears in Writer’s Digest, Library Journal, CrimeReads, and elsewhere. She lives with her wife in Maryland, where their occult rituals are secret.
Sonora Taylor
Sonora is the award-winning author of several novels and short stories, including Little Paranoias, Seeing Things, and Without Condition. She is an active member of the Horror Writers Association and serves on the board of directors of Scares That Care charity. Her latest release, Errant Roots, is out now from Raw Dog Screaming Press. She lives in Arlington, Virginia, with her husband and a rescue dog.
John Urbancik
Born on a small island in the northeast United States called Manhattan, John Urbancik has been writing stories that blend genres for years. Sometimes dark, funny, mysterious, or frightening, usually in the realms of fantasy, dark fantasy, and horror (fairytales and ghost stories), they are often richly textured, beautifully written, and extraordinary exercises of imagination. He has several books and stories coming out in the near future, and many more to be written.
D. Alexander Ward
Ward is an author, anthologist, and editor-in-chief of Bleeding Edge Books, a small publisher of horror and dark fiction of all permutations with a focus on anthologies and novellas by popular and established authors as well as new and emerging voices. As an author, Ward’s most recent novels are Pound of Flesh from Crystal Lake Publishing and Beneath Ash & Bone from Bleeding Edge Books. As an anthologist, he edited the Bram Stoker Award-nominated anthologies Lost Highways and Gutted: Beautiful Horror Stories (co-edited) from Crystal Lake Publishing, as well as the anthologies The Seven Deadliest (co-edited), Shadows Over Main Street Volumes 1, 2, & 3 (co-edited), and the mini-anthology Strange Echoes. He lives in rural Virginia, where he spends his nights writing, collecting, and publishing tales of the dark, strange, and fantastic.
