Step into the museum’s “parlor” for a spell of haunting literary entertainment. Enjoy dramatic readings of material drawn mostly from the Victorian era, including a mixture of spooky short stories, dark poetry, scary folk tales, vintage magic tricks, and more.
Expect to hear works by a variety of famous authors (such as Edith Nesbit and Edgar Alan Poe) as well as pieces by lesser-known artists.
Fancy attre and costumes are encouraged, and light refreshments will be provided at intermission. Museum members receive a free gift!
Regular daytime (10am-4pm) and evening pre-show (6:30pm) admission to the museum are included with all ticket purchases.
