Norsemen were ferocious in battle, and many of their legends were bloodthirsty and brutal, too. We’ve picked the bloodiest and scariest sagas featuring Gods and monsters for our Halloween special adult-only tours. Are you brave enough to join us?
This immersive storytelling event takes place around our recreation of Viking-age Coppergate. You can literally smell the decaying flesh as you hear the most gruesome stories of Norse legend, told during a walking-tour of the 10th century. We can promise clement weather inside, but expect chills to run up and down your spine…
This event is strictly for those aged 16 and over, so leave the little Viking’s at home as you venture out into the streets of Coppergate after dark.
Each tour lasts one hour, with small group sizes for an intimate experience.
Tickets are £25 per person, with tours departing every 30 minutes between 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm on Thursday, October 30th, and Friday, October 31st.
