The Dark City Song Swap takes place once a month and focuses on the art and craft of singer-songwriters. Our featured artists are:
Hunter Begley and Charles Walker.
BETH LEE is the host and curator of this series and she invites other talented artists to join her on stage each month to share their artistry.
Charles Walker is an independent artist from Charlotte, North Carolina living in Nashville. His music evokes a blend of modern indie rock and alt-country, taking cues from Phoebe Bridgers, Pinegrove, and Jason Isbell.
Hunter Begley set his heart towards writing in his hometown of Black Mountain, NC at the turn of the 21st century. Now 36, with many years of experience under his belt, he is still proudly pursuing his dream of becoming a master songwriter. He has a reason for every song and a memory behind each line. Songs are stories and Hunter has a ton. Listen closely.
