Dante Vaghi (1921–2011) was a self-taught visionary artist from Bethel, Connecticut, whose work was inspired by a series of UFO encounters he reported experiencing from the 1950s through the 1990s. Through drawings, sculptures, signs, and wearable creations, Vaghi explored his belief in intelligent life beyond Earth, creating a remarkable body of work that exists at the intersection of art, personal mythology, and the unexplained.

Organized by artist and independent curator Richard Klein with assistance from the Vaghi family, this exhibition is the first to critically examine Vaghi’s unique artistic legacy. Blending mystery, imagination, and creative vision, the exhibition offers a compelling exploration of the unknown through one artist’s extraordinary experiences and enduring fascination with the cosmos.
