Daniels Mill was originally part of the Pitchford Estate of the Otteley family, who owned much of the land in Bridgnorth and surrounding parishes.
The earliest reference to the Mill and land surrounding it appears around the late 15th century, when it was known as ‘Donynges’ or ‘Dunnings’ Mill. It remained in the hands of the estate until the 18th century, and in the early centuries was probably worked by a Journeyman Miller, who would visit the mill when there was work for it to do. This incredible location has been in the same family for 250 years. The owners believe that some of their family members still linger around the grounds today. With lots of unexplained activity, sights of ghostly apparitions and the sound of footsteps when there is no one around. Will you encounter any of the spirits that lurk around Daniels Mill?
There is a couple vigil areas that are outside on this event so please make sure you are wearing sensible footwear and wrap up warm accordingly.
