Danielle Doiron is a singer/songwriter based in Fredericton, NB. Her deeply personal lyrics (usually about love, loss and longing), jazzy vocals, and catchy acoustic melodies create songs that will make you both smile and pull at your heartstrings. Last October she released her debut studio EP, 'Stories that I tell myself' described by Matt Carter as "...a four song collection highlighted by delicate vocals and soft, intimate arrangements guaranteed to lull you into relaxation and soothe your tired mind." Notable performances include Fredericton's Own Stage at Harvest Festival (2023) and The Snowdome at Shivering Songs Festival (2023).
Your Friend in LA is a passion project combining elements of folk music and punk. With its songs centered heavily on a narrative structure and a unique voice, Your Friend in LA is a fresh take on the singer songwriter genre
The Abbey is a vegan cafe with great food options and a variety of hot and cold drinks, including a selection of alcoholic beverages. It has a semi-private room downstairs that we use for shows (please reach out with accessibility concerns). With a mix of tables, chairs and a couch, it can comfortably seat 30 people and up to 40 in the standing room at the back. It is a cozy space for an intimate performance with your listening audience.
