Dear Biker Community,Some efforts begin with a purpose—and grow into something even more meaningful.
This motorcycle ride began as a way to support Saugerties homeless students in need.
Then, it became a way to honor one of our own.
Daniel Valk, a 2015 graduate of Saugerties High School, is remembered not just for who he was—but for how he made others feel. Kind. Genuine. The kind of young man who showed up for others without being asked.
Over time, this ride came to carry both missions.
It supports local K–12 students and families who need it most—while honoring Daniel’s legacy in a way that reflects who he was.
Every mile we ride is about showing up for others.
On Saturday, June 27, we invite you to be part of that story.
Whether you ride, attend, or simply support, you are helping carry forward something bigger than a single day—something rooted in community, generosity, and care for our own.

Registration: Saturday, June 27 | 10:00–11:00 AM
Location: Abby’s Restaurant (formerly Ulster Howard Johnson)
2762 NY-32, Saugerties, NY — just off the Thruway exit
Ride Distance: 130 scenic miles
Destinations:
Thacher Park – 830 Thacher Park Rd, Voorheesville, NY
Lunch at The Maple on the Lake – 141 Warners Lake Rd, East Berne, NY
What’s Included:
Free coffee and donuts at registration
All-you-can-eat pizza for lunch
Spectacular views — don’t forget your camera
Great fellowship and community throughout the day
Important Notes:
Cars and trucks are welcome, but for safety reasons cannot follow the motorcycles during the ride. You are encouraged to meet us at Thacher Park or The Maple on the Lake.
