Curious about how Daniel Smith tests pigments for lightfastness or what makes granulation so special? This event offers the perfect chance to ask these questions and more in a relaxed, interactive setting.

Scott will kick off the session by sharing the fascinating history of Daniel Smith Manufacturing and taking you behind the scenes of their product development process. Attendees will also enjoy live demonstrations, including lab paint-outs and the use of minerals to create colors from the PrimaTek line. To close the session, Scott will paint out some of Daniel Smith’s most unique colors.

With over 20 years of experience in the art materials industry, Scott has had the pleasure of working alongside some of the most respected manufacturers in the field. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys watercolor painting, wine, music, and travel. Scott lives in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Traci.
