Art Journaling Series

Join us for an inspiring journey of self-expression and creativity in our Art Journaling Series! Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting, this workshop offers a space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and ideas through art and journaling.

Art journaling is a creative practice that combines visual art and writing in a journal or sketchbook. It’s a form of self-expression where you can use different art techniques—such as painting, drawing, collage, and mixed media—alongside words, quotes, or personal reflections.

Art journaling is used for Creative Exploration, Self-reflection, Storytelling, Mindfulness & Relaxation.

It’s a no-rules, free-flowing practice.

1st SESSION-Self-Compassion: Connecting with yourself and exploring self compassion.

2nd SESSION-Self-Transformation: Exploring your challenges and fostering self transformation.

3rd SESSION-Self-Expression: Exploring self expression through a 10 min spread challenge.

4th SESSION-Open Studio: Unstructured space where participants can freely explore and create in a supportive environment.

*When you enroll in the three sessions, the 4th session is free of charge.

Once registered, you will receive a personalized email containing forms that must be completed by each participant before the workshop date. Then, simply get ready to come and create!

Info: Luisa received her master’s degree in art therapy from The George Washington University
and is a board-certified art therapist (ATR-BC.) She is an experienced visual artist with years of experience teaching art and facilitating expressive art groups and workshops. Luisa strongly believes in the power of the art-making process in healing.
