Join us at Gathering Games and Hobbies for the Celebration Kickoff of this season's D&D Encounters series — Deadmines Dungeon
📅 Date: Wednesday, November 11th, 2026
🕔 Time: 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Gathering Games and Hobbies
💵 Cost: FREE
⚔️ THE ADVENTURE — "Enter the Deadmines":
Edwin VanCleef, ruthless leader of the criminal Defias Brotherhood, runs his operations from the abandoned gold mines beneath the town of Moonbrook. Prisoners are being forced to mine under the watch of the brutal ogre Foreman Rhahk'Zor, goblins have converted the Mast Room into a sawmill of death, and the Brotherhood's web of thievery and piracy spreads further every day.
A representative of the People's Militia needs heroes brave enough to descend into the Deadmines, cut the head off the snake, and bring VanCleef to justice. Do you have what it takes?
🎲 WHAT TO EXPECT:
• ~3 hour Celebration adventure — Enter the Deadmines
• Premade Level 3 characters provided — no prep needed!
• Bring your own character if you attended our September 30th Character Building Workshop!
• Up to 6 players per table with a dedicated Dungeon Master
• Exclusive Season of Champions oversized d20 for every participating player — while supplies last!
• This is Week 1 of a 4-week ongoing story series running through December 13th — the adventure you start tonight continues every Wednesday!
🌍 D&D MEETS WORLD OF WARCRAFT:
For the first time ever, the iconic world of Azeroth comes to Dungeons & Dragons! Whether you're a longtime D&D veteran or a World of Warcraft player curious about tabletop, this is the crossover event of the year. Explore Moonbrook, descend into the Deadmines, and face monsters straight from Azeroth — all at your local game table!
New to D&D entirely? Perfect — premade characters mean zero prep required. Just show up, grab a sheet, and let your DM handle the rest!
This event is FREE and open to all.
