Commissioned for by curator Danielle Mezh, Primal Cadence explores the tension between primal instinct and the pressures of modern life.
Moving between control and release, it reflects on our disconnection from emotion and instinct, while tracing the friction between societal expectation and the escapism of club culture, asking: what do we sacrifice in the pursuit of contemporary ideals?

DANCÆ was founded out of a desire to make dance more accessible by repositioning ballet and contemporary movement within contexts that feel immediate, current, and culturally relevant. By combining classical technique, electronic music, visual art, and spatial design, DANCÆ facilitates interdisciplinary productions that bridge the gap between high art and club culture.
