Tickets Available and Dancers Accepting Donations for People’s Choice Award

Local dancing “stars” will take center stage at Lincoln Hills Golf Club on Saturday, April 18th to raise money for the Ludington Area School District’s Oriole Foundation and the school’s band and choir programs. The public is invited to attend and see their moves.

“We are incredibly grateful to these generous and courageous community members who are taking to the dance floor to help raise awareness for the Oriole Foundation, an organization that supports innovative programs and unique educational opportunities for students across our district,” said Tyler Morin, President of the Foundation. “We’re also pleased to announce that the Pennies from Heaven Foundation has committed a $25,000 matching gift for funds raised during this event, doubling the impact of every donation in support of the Drama program at Ludington Area Schools.”

The local stars and their dance partners taking the stage include:

Kyle and Sarah Gurzynski
Jason and Julianna Anderson
Steve and Sue Brown
Ray Janish and Jamie Healy
Dave and Ashlee French

Dancers and their partners will be competing against each other for one of three trophies: Judges’ Choice, Most Entertaining and People’s Choice. The People’s Choice award goes to the couple who receives the most public votes - $1 equals 1 vote! Vote for your favorite couple live at the event or online here.

Choreography is being provided by Emma Claveau, Kaia Kenyon, Kaylee Malt, Gracie Allen, and Christine Plummer. Another local star, Kaley Petersen, will be emcee for the evening. Judges for the evening will be Adam Johnson, Rich Kirby and Alissa Bly. Sound and lighting services will be performed by Adam Knudsen.

Tickets to attend the event are now on sale for $75 and include heavy hors d'oeuvres, dancing and entertainment (cash bar available). Tickets are limited and can only be purchased online.
