Dancing Under Wide Open Skies- Friday Night Sunset Session

Join us for a series of Friday night Sunset Sessions- dancing out in the trees, surrounded by wild flowers within a few hundred feet of the ocean's edge.

This session will be a gently facilitated mindful movement class.We will dance outdoors in a contained spot amongst the trees at the very back of Lighthouse Fields park area using silent disco headsets- getting embodied on earth, using movement and music to call us present to the pleasure of being alive:)

In 5Rhythms dance there are no steps to learn, nothing to get right, just doing the dance that only you can do.It will be a designated non-verbal dance space to support us in dropping in deep (ie. it is NOT a “hang-out and picnic and chat and have a few beers while I boogie” type of headset event! You will be invited into presence, into practice, into the preciousness of dancing out under wide open skies

So come be with us for this sunset 5Rhythms dance session out under wide open skies, as the sun goes down over the ocean.

530-7pm. $20 cash or venmo onto door.

Locaton: We will be located on the side of the main huge field -furthest from the ocean- hidden in the trees near where Liberty Street meets Peyton Ave. We will be dancing throughout at the back of the the main field -( ie NOT on the very busy little lawn right by the lighthouse- it is way too busy down there to meet and dance deep down there..)

Sessions are led by Tess Howell. Tess is an accredited 5Rhythms teacher, A 360 Emergence Apprentice, a SomaSource Dance Rites of Passage Facilitator, a Spirit Rock trained Dharma & Yoga Teacher and trained in Buddhist Eco Chaplaincy. She is the founder of Wild Moves events which has been taking people on deep-dive outdoor dance experiences in areas of wild nature and big beauty since 2012.Tess also manages the School of Lost Borders supporting people in undertaking intensive desert wilderness quests. She relishes and cherishes space, sky, sea and stillness. She finds refuge in dance, the dharma, badass bass-lines and beautiful boots. She is UK born and now lives in Northern California.
